8.2.1 Create an Item Open Inventory - Items. Select New Item. Complete the minimum commercial fields: item name, SKU, category, unit of measure, tax behavior, reorder threshold, and active status. Define pricing, barcode, pack size, and vendor references where required. Save the record and confirm the generated or assigned SKU is unique.
